How it works
PROBLEM Uncontrolled stool output through colostomy
The most commonly used devices such as
bags make it difficult to carry out normal
activities of daily life due to the need to collect
intestinal contents, the frequent replacements
needed daily, and, once their function has
been exercised, they must be disposed of in
containers for special biological waste with the
consequences of the case. The practice of
irrigation in many patients partially limits the
consumption of bags, but is laborious. The
bags remain the main resource but cause
discomfort due to the modification of the body
image, they must be replaced several times a
day, and they are a hindrance in daily activities.

SOLUTION Restore control and management of stool output through colostomy
The proposed device is designed to contain
the feces while it is in place, to be easily
inserted and removed from the stoma in any
place by the patient himself when he feels the
need to evacuate the intestine, and therefore
to be able to evacuate the faeces into the toilet
in any normal public toilet, but also on a plane
or in a train, avoiding the disposal of the bag
full of feces in a special container. Evacuation
can take place by leaning over the toilet and
then cleaning the stoma with water or with the
special wet wipes. A pouch can be used during
sleep to limit the chances of having to use a
bathroom other than your own during the day
